Shalala Salamzadeh’s practice delves into the evolution of cultural archetypes in the digital era, employing databending and data manipulation to reveal the complex layers within our digital interactions and self-representations. By disrupting traditional forms and using generative art, she exposes the distortions and constructed facades that technology imposes on identity and reality. Shalala Salamzadeh’s selected exhibitions include Unobservable Dreams at Yarat! Contemporary Art Space, Baku, and One-Off Moving Image Fest in Copenhagen (2024).
